What is EFKO

The EFKO " European Fullcontact Karate Organization" is a name with a mission. EFKO aims to unite all the full contact karate Organizations of Europe. By working together, we all will gain extra value to each of us and to all Fullcontact Karate Organizations. We can show the world that we are one big family, whatever the country, whatever the organization, whatever the style, whatever the ability or disability , whatever the level. We are and we must be “ONE BIG FAMILY” where everybody is welcome!

As we knew before, the 'new' generation in kyokushin is made of fighters who know each other, who respect each other, who shared experiences that are usually once-in-a-lifetime. There is no rivalry between us, there is no King of the World. All we want is, to share with younger people the unique, life changing experience that we had when we came into kyokushin and we were fighting and training all over the world. We have become friends for life, and it is the younger generation that should profit from that - and repeat the process. Us being together and working together also means a great show of respect for the heritage of Sosai Oyama. We are all equal, in our love and devotion for kyokushin.

In the true meaning of Budo we invite everyone to work together with us. The success will be not the success from one person or Organization but the collaboration between all organizations and everyone with a big heart for Full contact karate. Besides the fact that we want to gain more value by working together, the collaboration is also very important to become a change for the Olympics. We are working hard to get Karate in the Olympics. Therefore we need to be united. We really hope that with good intentions and a lot of respect for each other we can make history.

BIG OSU!
